Our friend originally asked to get a painted vinyl canvas which would be used as part of a cover for her backyard sauna.  When it became clear this was going to be something more than a simple stylized ostrich, and the fact that painted vinyl wouldn't stand up to the elements for long, we all decided to do a real painting an get a printed vinyl banner from the scanned original.

Inspired by Klimt and Art Nouvea, this ostrich has some attitude and style!
